I have a different job now, but people ask me all the time about my experience so I thought I’d share a bit more!
Lots of teachers in Japan have better or worse experiences, but it’s hard to tell what it’ll be like until you’re here experiencing it. You take a gamble with most English teaching organizations in that you don’t know your school, grade level, or location sometimes up until you arrive 😭
I got fairly lucky overall though and will always be grateful for the staff, students, and friends I made as an English teacher!
