My DNC recap. I was honored to be invited, and attend the many activities alongside the convention. I met and talked to many wonderful people and creators. You know as a comedic creator I lowkey felt soooo out of place at first but I realized that my voice/platform is just as valuable as anyone else’s.
While I did enjoy my time there, I and many others felt there was a lack of Palestinian voices during the convention. Their only voices being heard outside the convention as they protested for a ceasefire.
So yes while the DNC was a great experience for me there is still so much more work to be done. Everyone’s voices should be heard. And you as well should make your voices heard at the polls in November!
