To recreate this activity, you need uncooked rice or chickpeas (you can also do beans, etc.), colourful dice, sprinkles and a plastic bottle (this is an 8 ounce one) with a lid. Feel free to glue the lid shut with hot glue for added safety. You can always swap out the dice/sprinkles for cut-up straws, pom poms or cut-up pipe cleaners, or colourful beads. Try and use what you have! 👶🏼👶🏽👶🏾This activity is great for babies 4mts plus. You can use them to encourage many developmental skills like reaching, rolling or crawling. They are also great for tummy time and sitting practice! 🦕🦖DINO egg rescue activity that’s easy to make and oh so much fun! ✨FOLLOW✨ @lovebloomlearn for more easy play ideas! To recreate, first, save your eggshells. I consciously tried to open some of our eggs at the top and saved them until I had enough for the activity. I made a small hole with a knife at the top and peeled off some of the shells to make a small circle. Rinse the inside before putting in the Dino’s. Once all the eggs are filled with Dino’s, you fill the eggs with gelatin. *Make gelatin according to the package. Once the gelatin is ready (ours took roughly 5 hours in the fridge to set), we made sand and grass and added everything to a shallow tray. ⏳Sand: Mix flour, cocoa and oil - start with dry ingredients (blend until a sand colour) and slowly add in oil until you get a mouldable texture. 🌱Grass: Cut some green paper and use scissors to “curl” them. Like you would do with ribbon. ➡️ Check out my “Baby and Toddler Activities and Milestones Caregiver Guides” for easy play ideas! - link in bio! ✨ 👶🏼👶🏽👶🏾 An adult should supervise all activities on this page. Play ideas are recommended for kiddos for 18-months plus! • • • #momssupportingmoms #newmomsupport #momoflittles #babysfirstyear #grossmotordevelopment #babydevelopment #babymilestones #mommyandmetime #tummytimefun #newmomsupport #momoflittles #grossmotorplay #childdevelopment #playhacks #parentinghacks #babyplay #babyplayideas #parentsupportingparents #babyplaytime #infantdevelopment #minimalistbaby #momentsinmotherhood #momoflittles #grossmotor #grossmotorplay #raisinglittles #sensoryplayideas #sensoryplaytime #sensoryplaytolearn #sensoryactivity

🦖🦕We had so much fun with this Dino dig today! It was quick to put together and both kids equally enjoyed it. Share it with a friend so they can try it too! 💕 Hi!👋🏻 I’m Desiree, an early interventionist and mama of two sweet littles. I love sharing evidence-based strategies and easy play ideas to promote your child’s development. Click the ✨FOLLOW✨ button to continue learning more! To recreate this activity, mix flour and oil. The amount of flour will depend on the size of your container. Slowly add oil (mix) until you like the consistency. You should be able to form a ball with the “sand” (called cloud dough). Then add some small Dino’s and paint brushes! As for oil, you could use cooking, coconut or baby oil. White round tray from @inspiremyplay 👶🏻👶🏽👶🏾Activity is taste-safe so you can try as young as approximately 6mts. Bake the flour at 350 for about ten minutes (if you have a mouthing child) to eliminate any potential bacteria. Supervision is always required. ➡️For easy play ideas, check out my Baby and Toddler Caregiver Play & Milestone guides. It’s loaded with tips, milestones & play ideas!
