YES, but… Some passengers have reported that some airlines are starting to crack down on this at the ticket counter! I do not recommend putting valuables in the car seat bag! If gate checking the car seat bag with extra items inside, be aware you may have to take these items out at TSA to be checked. DISCLAIMER: Personally, I have never had an issue doing this. Here’s why: A couple weeks ago, Grant’s grandma took him to visit his cousins in another state. Because he was flying without his parents, I made sure to get a NOTARIZED letter of travel consent. Is this always necessary? Nope! But it is a great precautionary measure to make sure nothing goes wrong on travel day! Babywearing was sooo intimidating to me with my first. But out of necessity & desire, this one is always being worn. I tried the ring sling out when she was younger but didn’t quite feel comfortable yet. I am so happy I gave it another try because I am loving this sling now!!! It took me about a week wearing it at home before I felt confident enough to take it out with me. Don’t feel discouraged if it doesn’t feel right the first few times, keep practicing! A lot of hotels claim to be “family-friendly” because they allow kids or offer roll away cribs, but what truly makes a hotel family-friendly? ❣️ 💁🏽‍♀️Sure, not every hotel will have all of these features, but in my opinion, these would be the top characteristics to look for: 🏩 Spacious rooms — enough space for each member to have their own bed, room for suitcases & strollers, space for a roll away crib if needed, separate bathroom space. 🏩 Family amenities — play areas, gifted toiletries, rental items (ie. Strollers, toys) 🏩 Location — central to nearby attractions, close to transportation, & safe area! 📍We stayed at @mimaruhotels Kyōto Shinmachi Sanjō during our time in Kyoto and can truly say it meets all of these requirements! All aboard, train lovers!! 🚂 Descanso Railroad 📍Los Angeles, CA ⏰ 9 am - 4 pm 💰Admission to Descanso Gardens is $15 for adults, $5 for children 5-12, free for children 4 and under. The ride on train is an additional $5. Pro Tips: ✔️ Do the ride on train FIRST! They will stop selling tickets and doing rides to prevent the train from overheating. We tried to go around 1 pm and they had already closed. ✔️ The third Tuesday of every month is free. Reserve your tickets ahead of time online! ✔️ Pack a lunch and enjoy it at the picnic tables. ✔️ The grounds are stroller friendly - it’s a lot of walking so we would recommend it!
