This was a recent tweet with leaks about Eternals 2 and Silver Surfer. Silver Surfer and Galactus are two large cosmic entities and many people theorized that Eternals will eventually introduce Galactus into the MCU. It also makes sense that Eternals 2 will be a more celestial focused film because Eternals 1 planted the seed with the origins. I am interested to see how Galactus and Silver Surfer feed into Eternals 2.

Before the weekend of SDCC, on r/MarvelStudioSpoilers reddit a post titled Tales from Mod Queue was released with information on several unreleased and set to release Marvel Studio projects. One of them was about the unconfirmed Eternals sequel with the following information shown in the picture above. For many this was a happy yet disappointing post to see. On one hand, it does say that Eternals 2 is on track which is joyful, however, without Chloe Zhao was the director which is very disappointing.
Chloe's direction in the first film is what made it so unique and one of the favorite parts for many because you can see her hands all over it. Many people wanted to see Chloe return as the director and instead have a stronger writing team. Me personally, I do not really want an Eternals sequel unless Chloe is heavily involved with it, because I do not think that any other director can handle the characters with the grace she has.
Now if Chloe is the one who chooses not to return to direct because it is a huge blockbuster film which can be very time consuming, challenging and restritive (especially given the reception to Eternals 1), I will respect that and not be disappointed. However, if Marvel Studios is choosing to be restrictive on Eternals 2 that is upsetting. I will still be satisfied if Chloe returns even as a writer or a producer to advise on what story to tell with the Eternals.
Three weeks after this rumor dropped, Patton Oswalt had seemingly confirmed ,on the Today Show, an Eternals sequel with Chloe Zhao was the director which was a huge surprise to hear. I still do not know who to believe but if Chloe is returning to the sequel, I will always be happy.

A day before SDCC 2022, it was found that Marvel had submitted trademarks to the EUIPO for several titles and two of the titles are Eternals/ cosmic MCU related : Celestials: End of Time and Eternity Saga.
Assuming that these trademarks are specifically for Marvel Studios and not comics or non-MCU projects, Celestials: End of Time could be the title for the Eternals Sequel and Eternity Saga could be the title of the next phase after Multiverse Saga. If this is true, this leads me to believe that the Eternals sequel has not been announced yet because it could be kicking of the next phase, the Eternity Saga.

Earlier this year a film industry insider said that Ma Dong Suk [Don Lee] who plays Gilgamesh will be returning to Marvel Studios as his character soon.
It was said that during the summer of 2022 he would fly over to the US to work on a new Marvel Studios project. During the summer of 2022, Loki Season 2 and Echo were largely filming.
If this rumor is true, the only project that Gilgamesh could come in is in Loki Season 2. This could be through a time travel scene or location where Gigalmesh was. Gilgamesh also aided Odin in the battle against the Frost giants , so if they are doing a flashback to that moment in Loki S2, Gilgamesh can appear there as well.

@MainMiddleMan had tweeted saying that Eternals will continue to appear in projects throughout Marvel before its sequel ,specifically cosmic and space projects, like Thor Love and Thunder (we know now that isnt true), GOTG 3, and The Marvels.
I always thought that the Eternals would appear in TLAT ,and that didn't happen, but at least we got Eternals related references. However, GOTG 3 seems likely as that movie is majority set in space, especially as post credit scene. I am iffy on The Marvels!
