🦖🦴🦕DINO FOSSIL DIG! We had a snow day the last two days, so I wanted to keep the kids busy. I had all these items on hand, and the setup took about 10 minutes. It was gooey and fun!

To recreate this activity, add cornstarch to a container with cocoa powder water. The amount will be dependent on the size of your container. You only need enough cocoa to make the cornstarch brown. Tip: it will be darker when you add water. Start slowly adding water until you reach the desired consistency. If it’s too “hard,” add some water; if it’s too liquid, add more cornstarch. The recipe is called oobleck. Then add Dino bones and fossils, bowls and scoops. We added a water station to clean with a brush. It’s a blast! Have fun! 🎉
